I <3 Tickets

This is the thirddddddddd time i got pulled over for my mopar catback [partly] lol. Everytime i tell the cop.... its stock it came like that from dodge [looks stock enough for them no to be able to tell], n they all say they dont believe me cause dodge has to put mufflers on it... so this time i was prepared and had a haynes manual type thing of the exhaust system, FROM DODGE! So i show this to the cop, n he says "I still dont believe you" and then he proceeds to say so i take it you "forgot" to put your front plate on when you put that new bumper on..... LOL... i was like... sir this is how the car came, n he didnt believe me! So instead he decides to say i pulled out in front of him, when i pulled out of a parking lot to a stop sign 20 feet away, n he was flying over a hill n got on my ass. So the end is he gives me a ticket for failure to yeild right of way, and says he'll let me off with the exhaust, no front plate, and plastic plate cover on the back plate... pissed me off. He also gratefully pushed my courtdate earlier because im leaving active duty for the navy... nice guy :confused:

LOL @ telling the cop your car didnt come with a front plate so its not illegal.

I guess I can use excuses like, "my car didnt come with a speed governor so you cant blame me for speeding" and "my car didnt come with an valid inspection sticker, not my fault". Sucks he gave you the ticket but your lucky he didnt give you much more.

ya, i told him that the car had nowhere to mount it lol... i dont want holes in my bumper. the local PD here that i interned with said i more than likely wouldnt get bothered about the front plate unless i was doing something else wrong. They know all about my car now lol. A few of the officers looked it up cause they couldnt get past the fact that there are no mufflers stock. i love my srt haha

The cops round here havent been too prickley. I was talking to one of them when they were outside the scales where i work. They drive those lil impallas round here, i dont know what you guys got buzzing about in your town. So anyway he said that they would barely do 110 actually "They'll probably do about 120, well thats if the duct tape holds and we got a nice gust of wind at our backs while going downhill." IF I ever blew by a cop when I was seriously speeding I would..... hrmm self incrimination. Let me just say this, he wouldnt see my brake lights and I would down shift (if needed). :hehe:

Wait till you get pulled over by one of our local yardley cops :D...Ive been pulled over 3 times in a month with no tickets just harassing me about nothing. Next time I get pulled over im just gonna say that its the other black srt in the area not me ;)
