I had some treated 2"x10" wood laying around and decided to try this out. I got the idea from Scott @ Maxxfab a while ago.

i bought the plastic ones from pep boys. i ended up having to jack my car up to pull them out.

yes......... they were. especially when the 4 ounces of plastic shot under my car when i let off the clutch

That's exactly why I won't buy those. I hear too many stories like that.

These fit under the fender, raise the car 6", and were free. They should be high enough for oil, trans fluid, and bulb changes.

I got tired of smashing my head on the ground trying to look under my front end.
