So I was bored one day and wanted to put my new stickypod to the test.. Here is the result.. As you will see I obviously wasn't pushing it in the turns, but I did what I could with bald ass front tires. lol I did manage to hit 120 after passing one of the cars, so I guess this thing works..

I was hoping someone would notice that.. lol. No it's an external mic in the cab o the car mounted on top of the dash in the defroster vent.. :bigthumb:

It's a Sony DCR-TRV17. I would actually love to get one of those little bullet cams..

Held up great, I hit 120 in that video, and it didn't go anywhere. lol

I use Sonic Foundry vegas video, it's pretty easy to learn with some cool features..

yea awesome video, i love the external mic mounted in the car. No wind noise = good vid quality.

Is that just a feature on your camera? b/c I'm gonna order a stickypod but I don't want the wind noise and I was looking at my camera (JVC) and I don't see anyway to hook that up. Guess maybe I need a new camera.

Yeah, it's just the camera, it has an external mic port.

Big time Resurection but, I just got my StickyPod for Christmas and I was just wondering if you (or anyone else) has any Tips/Suggestions on using it. I know its all pretty straight forward but I'm just curious if you discovered any better ways of using it or anything. Thanx

Yeah just clean the area to be suctioned real well with alcohol swabs or whatever to get all the grease/wax off. You don't want that bitch comin off. lol And as for mounting locations I dunno, just gotta play with it. I actually haven't had a lot of time to mess with mine since this I made this video. :( I need to. lol

Really,..........Your only using the 3 cup one. I got the ProPak (4 cup one with all the accessories) I can't wait to use it, especially on my Mustang since my Saleen wing will provide a great mounting spot and some really good views with my top down.

BTW- isn't the guy who sells these things such a douche bag? :lol:

Yeah I knew I only needed the 3 cup one. I have personally seen it withstand some crazy speeds so I knew that's all I needed.. I do, however, want to get some extensions and another little rotator joint thingy so I can mount my camera in-cab looking forward from my rear window.
