putting on the block off plate do i need to put a gasket on the plate or i dont need one and another what vac line should i use to put a hks bov

you should put a gasket or something to seal the block off plate

if you dont put something on it, I can guarantee that it will leak

Use RTV sealant, the copper one I think. And T'ing off the throttle body should work.

as a matter of fact, it will proly leak even WITH a gasket

go to a dodge dealer and ask for anaerobic sealer.it comes in a small red tube.that is the proper sealant to use.regular rtv will more than likely leak.the compressor housing is aluminum and the block off plates are usually made of aluminum as well.ive never had one leak with the correct sealer

anaerobic is a fancy term for "no oxygen" they could've called it "air tight" and ben much more catchy and less scientific lol. just an observation. sorry. /threadjack
