i really like that liscense plate frame, lol... and the engine bay is SUPER clean... wish mine was like that, overall VERY nice car... but like arty said, change the rims, leave the lip chrome and powdercoat the rest black... 1 or 2 coats of clear, and itll look really hot !

The rims I just got. There Axis Decades 18x8 with 235/40/18 for rubber. I didn't like them in pictures until I saw them on A VW in person and that was all it took. Some have said paint the centers black and leave the chrome lip, well I am debating that. I just need someone to photoshop it first to see whether or not I will really like it.

Lowered on Tein Super Street Coilovers. I actually had to raise the car after those pics 1/4inch because over large dips in the road, my tires were rubbing.

And Thankyou, it has been a work in progress for the past 2.5 years.

What you see in the pics is as low as I have ever had my car. After the pics were taken I raised the car up. You can't really judge but in the pics I could only put 1 finger inbetween the wheel and wheel well. Now I can barley fit 2 fingers inbetween the wheel and wheel well.

As far as spacers, I do not know. Maybe a skinner tire, maybe a 225/40/18 instead of a 235/40/18. I am personally against spacers so I do not know much about them. You can still definitely tell that the car is lowered. I mean if I go slow it's not a problem, but me and slow don't go together. Around town was fine when I was really low, it's the parkway that killed me. All the dips on the parkway and 70-75mph just did not work so I raised it up.

The car looks exceptional SM! There's nothing wrong with those rims, especially if YOU like them. Change them, and someone will say, "you should have gotten these". If you like them, that's what counts. Nice job on the car. :woot:

I went out to go look at it last night. I told him all the parts he had, explained everything. Then while we were BSing in front of the car I looked up and saw the N2MB sticker...

Grifter I sent you a PM. I would really like to go over the car with the kid who bought it. I put a lot of Money, and Time and Care into that car and I do not want to see some young kid F**K it up. He got one hell of a well maintained car. Oil was changed with Mobile 1 at 500 miles, 1,000 miles and every 2,000 miles after that. All work was done by Jay @ N2MB so you know all the parts are installed as clean as can be. No cheapo parts, TEIN, AGP, DTEC, DEFI, Exhaust Depot, AEM, Thermal Research and Design all the best.
